Victor GIROIRE

Before joining Avencore, Victor spent four years in various operational roles within the manufacturing industry, including in Southeast Asia, where he worked in the renewable energy sector. As an Industrialization Manager, he led the industrialization of new products and processes, production ramp-ups, and initiatives to improve manufacturing site performance. This hands-on experience enabled him to develop strong expertise in manufacturing, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.

A certified Black Belt, Victor now combines this strong industrial and operational background with his consulting expertise to support clients in delivering their projects.

Victor joined Avencore in 2021 and has since focused primarily on CAPEX optimization and operational excellence projects. As a Principal at the firm, he supports leading industrial companies in defining, securing, and optimizing their investment projects, from the initial study phases through to commissioning. He works closely with industrial, engineering, and project teams to identify opportunities to invest at the right cost while ensuring the safety, reliability, and performance of industrial assets.

He has supported major players across the energy, nuclear, construction materials, chemicals, and industrial gases sectors, particularly on projects involving the construction of new plants, the expansion of existing facilities, the modernization of production assets, and the decommissioning of complex infrastructure.

His experience spans the entire lifecycle of industrial projects, including strategic scoping, challenging requirements, defining technical solutions, benchmarking, cost optimization, value management, investment governance, and risk management. He regularly leads Value Engineering initiatives to reconcile operational ambitions with economic constraints.

Through his pragmatic approach, combining hands-on experience in industrial environments with proven consulting expertise, Victor supports industrial companies in making their most critical investment decisions by identifying concrete solutions that balance operational performance, cost control, and growth ambitions.
