Luc GODTLER

Luc Godtler brings over 35 years of international experience supporting industrial companies across Europe and North America.

Luc began his career as an aerospace engineer in France, at Société Européenne de Propulsion (now part of ArianeGroup), where he worked in the engineering design office before leading the Thermal Protection System part of the European Hermes space shuttle program.

After seven years in the aerospace and defense sector, Luc transitioned into management consulting, joining a French firm specialized in design-to-cost. Over the next 14 years (including seven years based in Chicago, where he established and led the US office), he advised major industrial players on product cost optimization, value engineering, and development strategies.

In 2009, Luc co-founded Avencore with a clear vision: to create a consulting firm fully dedicated to the industrial sector, delivering high-impact, hands-on support. The firm was built on the belief that engineering excellence, strategic insight, and collective enthusiasm are key to transforming industrial performance.

Under Luc’s leadership, Avencore has become a trusted advisor to major French industrial groups and leading mid-sized companies in Germany and North America.

His areas of expertise include design-to-value, industrial transformation, turnaround of complex programs, and large-scale change management.
