What does a typical day look like for you as a consultant at Avencore?

There’s no such thing as a typical day at Avencore, and that’s exactly what makes the job so exciting! In a single week, I might work at a nuclear power plant, then two days later work on a production line in a food processing facility, and wrap up the week at our office on the Champs-Élysées. Each day brings new challenges, but what remains constant is the direct contact with our clients every day.

What do you like the most about your job?

What I enjoy most is the unique opportunity to interact with both executive leadership and operational teams. This dual perspective gives real insight into how companies function at every level. I’ve had the chance to work on more than 20 industrial sites across the world, in France, Italy, Switzerland, the US, Brazil, and India, all in just over two years. Few jobs offer that level of international exposure so early in your professional career.

What aspects of your studies have been most useful in your work at Avencore?

My engineering degree from Arts et Métiers gave me a solid technical foundation, which is essential for speaking credibly with our industrial clients. On the other hand, my business education at emlyon helped me understand broader strategic and financial dimensions. The combination of both is a real asset in this job and something we rely on every day in our missions.

What do you think makes a good consultant?

Above all, great communication skills. Whether you’re sharing insights with top management or working with field teams, being able to adapt your message and resonate with each audience is essential.
