Following the acquisition of its main competitor, the leading player in the urban mobility systems market sought our expertise to effectively merge two distinct industrial frameworks and operating models. As the industry transitioned toward new technologies, services, and business models, our client needed to develop transformative solutions to capture new business opportunities.
The approach for Post-merger integration
We implemented a three-step strategy to streamline engineering activities and establish a foundation for a robust, integrated solution portfolio:
- Assessment of company features & challenges related to workforces, competences, activities, costs
- Definition of the target integrated organization and its practical implications, such as scenario decision matrices, detailed organizational charts, transfer assessments for different sites, and savings and investment mapping.
- Development the roll out roadmap (business plan including OPEX evolution, HR planning..) and the associated KPIs
