Why did you decide to work for Avencore?

I was looking for a job opportunity working as a consultant, helping clients with strategic problems, using a practical method that is based on technical knowledge and questioning… and that is exactly what I found at Avencore! We conduct functional and hands-on consulting that has a tangible effect on the client, which we endeavor to measure on every job. I enjoy working with a variety of topics and disciplines while striving for excellence every day.

What is your favourite memory working with a client?

During a brainstorming meeting about cost reduction for a consumer product, my client received a call. After stepping out, he returned excitedly, saying, “The competitor released their product! I am buying two copies. We will send one to the lab, and we will dissect the other this afternoon.” We did just that and had a memorable hands-on workshop.

What do you enjoy most about being a consultant?

At Avencore, you are in a state of “controlled dynamic disequilibrium.”

• Disequilibrium because you are always stepping out of your comfort zone – something that all Avencorians strive for.
• Dynamic because we never do the same thing twice but progress every day to develop new skills and seek out new challenges.
