What do you enjoy most about working as a consultant at Avencore?

I joined AVENCORE as an end-of-study intern, and I do not regret my choice at all!

I discovered all that I hoped for post-college:

  • An intellectually stimulating environment, enabling me to work on complex problems.
  • Healthy emulation through management that is both demanding and benevolent.
  • A dynamic, fast-growing company that promotes the development of its talents.

How is your work environment?

Excellent! I picked the school Mines de Paris for its “small class” size, where you can personalize career paths, and the entire class is familiar with each other. At Avencore, I see all these qualities. I have formed strong and long-lasting friendships with some of my colleagues, and I really like collaborating with consultants from leading engineering institutions, day in and day out.

What makes a good consultant?

The work of a consultant is multidimensional, but certain levers are essential to the success of any project:

  • Commitment: feeling committed to one’s work and daily tasks.
  • Curiosity: being driven by a scientific curiosity that leads to exploring the technical aspects of products and processes.
  • Ambition: actively pursuing challenges and uncomfortable situations that accelerate skills development.
  • Communication: develop the art of effective, relevant dialogue, both with customers and colleagues.
  • Team spirit: Foster a collaborative environment to optimize individual and group performance.

What is your favourite memory working with a client?

I have very fond memories of working lunches with the client team to finalize an important presentation together: the atmosphere was professional yet relaxed and pleasant, strengthening the bonds between us and the client, and the presentation ultimately went very well!
