“My skills as an engineer could create value for industrial firms”
Christopher Ribaud – Manager – CentraleSupélec (2021)
How did you progress at Avencore?
I joined Avencore in 2021 as an intern at the end of my studies, intending to gain operational experience in industry by tackling operational challenges. Soon I understood that my skills as an engineer could create value for industrial firms, especially by enhancing the competitiveness of their investments.
After completing a few projects, I had developed strong autonomy in project execution and a holistic view of project stakes, thanks to continuous support, challenge and coaching from people in the firm.
Avencore is a company with a personal touch and that values its employees, allowing me to play an important role in the company’s growth as well as that of its consultants.
What advice would have been helpful before applying to Avencore?
Stay up to date with current events and industry trends, break down problems into manageable bricks, even seemingly simple problems, and always proceed with method: define, prioritize, arrange, collaborate, and communicate.
What is your favorite memory working with a client?
I keep good memories of the visit of a nuclear reactor of 40 ha proposed by the client, allowing us to put sound and image from the field on the optimization solutions under assessment.
