Matthieu MAUDELONDE

With more than 15 years of experience in industry consulting, Matthieu has led over 100 projects across all major industrial sectors, with a strong focus on structuring and steering large-scale performance improvement programs. He has developed deep expertise in industrial project governance and cost competitiveness.

As a recognized expert in the energy sector, and particularly in the nuclear field, Matthieu leads Avencore’s Energy & Environment practice. He has worked closely with executive teams to design governance frameworks, decision-making processes, and program management systems, helping clients secure key milestones in highly complex and regulated environments.

Beyond energy, Matthieu has built extensive experience in transportation and mobility, both with operators and OEMs. As head of Avencore’s railway practice, he has guided more than 60 projects for leading mobility players, with long-term collaborations covering cost reduction, supplier relationship and co-development, and organizational transformation. He supports incumbent operators at a pivotal moment as the French railway market opens to competition.

Matthieu also has advanced expertise in cost reduction methodologies, having led over 50 Design-to-Cost and value analysis projects across multiple industries. He combines deep industrial knowledge with a pragmatic approach to performance. His ability to structure complex programs and foster alignment among stakeholders has made him a trusted partner for clients facing high-stakes challenges.

In addition to his consulting work, Matthieu has been a lecturer at École Nationale Supérieure des Mines de Nancy since 2022, where he teaches Industrial Competitiveness.
