Sébastien DEGUELDRE

Sébastien joined Avencore’s management team in 2025, bringing over 23 years of professional experience, including 18 years as a consultant with a strong focus on Procurement, Supply Chain, CAPEX & MRO projects, and Industrial Performance. He has supported leading industrial players in sectors such as aeronautics, healthcare, electronics, energy, and rail, addressing challenges from supply chain resilience to procurement transformation and CAPEX governance.

Before joining Avencore, Sébastien held senior positions in major consulting organizations. He served as Principal within the consulting division of JAGGAER, a global leader in procurement solutions, and following its acquisition by PwC France & Maghreb in 2021, he became Director in the Purchasing Practice. Earlier in his career, he worked for a large player in the energy and utilities sector, which shaped his expertise in large-scale investment projects and operational performance.

Sébastien has led numerous strategic and operational projects covering organizational diagnosis, cost reduction, ESG implementation, digitalization, and supplier collaboration. He has developed recognized expertise in CAPEX management, procurement operations, contract management, and claim resolution. His experience includes supporting aeronautics leaders in the design and execution of major CAPEX programs such as the construction of assembly lines, production plants, and headquarters relocations across Europe and North America. In these contexts, he managed sourcing strategies, supplier negotiations, contract frameworks, and crisis situations involving defects, delays, and cost overruns.
He has also delivered transformation projects in aerospace, railway, and electronics, where he established governance frameworks, value engineering practices, and sourcing strategies that achieved, for example, 12% cost savings on a major factory construction program. More recently, he supported the cost governance of a gigafactory project by consolidating budgets, structuring risk management frameworks, and setting up project governance routines to mitigate exposure to budget overruns.

With a unique combination of strategic vision and hands-on execution, Sébastien helps clients transform their Purchasing and Supply Chain functions into levers of resilience and competitiveness.
